Here’s a recap of what went down at this years NeoCon 2024...
We did things a little differently this year as we delved into the minds behind design and presented 'Anything but Ordinary' along with the latest design by Pearson Lloyd.
Awarded Silver for Education Solutions, Contour is a lightweight, flexible work and meeting chair, featuring a highly efficient single-piece plastic backrest that provides generous ergonomic support to a wide demographic, designed for any setting.
Designed for any setting; healthcare, education, and corporate environment, Contour is a highly adaptable platform that can migrate seamlessly between desk work, casual meetings and touch-down sessions.
But most importantly Contour is designed in accordance with circular design principles, ensuring each component product in the system can be easily repaired. The backrest is made using 100% recycled Polypropylene and both backrest and seat come with removable covers, that can be chosen to be upholstered using 100% recyclable material, further ensuring repairability and longevity.
Despite its simplicity, Contour boasts a highly adaptable platform that can migrate seamlessly between desk work, casual meetings and touch-down sessions, as well as educational and workshop environments. The swivel version's integrated tilt mechanism makes the chair supremely suited to medium- duration light work activities.
Contour has been designed for versatility. The backrest can be configured with either plastic or upholstered and interchangeable ancillary parts allow for easy modification, including legs, arms tablets and a bag tray.
Contour is designed in accordance with circular design principles, designed responsibly with regard to its material selections and usage.
The plastic back shell has been designed to be moulded utilising 100% recycled Polypropylene. This accompanied by its low component count and localised component sourcing provide a highly Sustainable product and this can be seen in the LCA and Carbon Footprint documents.
